Boss that change my thoughts :)

Have you ever stop to thinking of all the people who have come and gone in your life? Sure maybe some weren’t what you would call special too you but I would surmise they left something with you as the passed through.

“The more light you allow within you, the brighter the world you live in will be.”

I remember a boss I had years ago, he was over bearing and just plain awful I didn’t particularly like him and most days I hoped to avoid him if at all possible. A few months into the job and the more time I spent around him the more I began to understand his nastiness. He had just lost his share in his family business. It was after this revelation that I decided to change my attitude towards him. See, at first I just thought he was a mean person but what I found out over time, he was in pain and mourning and could no longer see the beauty of his life.

I didn’t work there for long but when I left my boss gave me something and he never knew it. He gave me patience and understanding, it was through him that I learned a valuable lesson in life, we cannot begin to understand and judge someone unless we know where they’ve been in their lives.

I believe that God places people in our lives for a short time or even a season and there is something that we are meant to learn from them. When we allow ourselves to be “touched” by these people we receive gifts far beyond the material world. Our hearts are open and our spirits are able to soar.

If we are able to change our attitudes in life and appreciate the abundance we have, we are able to foster thankfulness for everyone and everything around us each day. We are each give opportunities within our day to touch someone in our lives right now and bless them. It can be a kind word, holding the door or even getting a co-worker a cup of coffee. It’s these little actions that foster thankfulness within ourselves and those around us.Imageife
